Background on Family Resources:
Founded 160 years ago, Family Resources is a not-for-profit social service agency that has thrived in the Quad Cities and Muscatine community providing services such as therapy and counseling, victims' services, and child welfare/juvenile justice services. Family Resources is dedicated to the Trauma Informed System of Care that has been implemented nationally over the last five years. The work of Family Resources is guided and driven by the values of safety, resourcefulness, teamwork, and service while dedicated to strengthening children and families by providing quality services.
Care Coordinators in the Family, Safety, Risk, and Permanency program needed throughout Muscatine and surrounding counties needed to provide the broad array of in-home family services including individual and family skill development and therapy services, psycho social assessment, service planning, and individual and family psycho social education and counseling. In addition, provide skill development, supervision, transportation, and supportive services.
Bachelor’s Degree in human services or a related field from an accredited four year college with minimum of two (2) years of full time experience in Child Welfare Services; or a Masters Degree in human services or related field from an accredited college or university; or an Associate of Arts Degree plus (4) years of full-time experience in Child Welfare Services.
Compensation will be negotiable. It is a salary-based position with some mileage reimbursement. Laptops with air cards are also provided. Salary is based off of a 12-caseload workweek.
Medical, dental, and vision benefits are offered after 6 months of employment. Long-term disability and Life Insurance are offered at no cost to employees after 1 year of employment. Pension and matching 403(b) available after 1 year of employment.
