• Respond knowledgeably, accurately, and courteously to a variety of general customer inquiries regarding The Health Benefit Exchange and services, including available plan options, eligibility criteria and the enrollment process.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of customer needs, also recognizing that many callers are likely to have little knowledge of The Health Benefit Exchange or its purpose.
• Determine the appropriate course of action in response to customer needs by completing, initiating or escalating transactions as appropriate. Utilize the Oracle Rightnow CX Cloud Service CRM to document incident reports, resolve customer inquiries and catalog each interaction with customers.
• Demonstrate continuous, sincere interest in providing exceptional customer service.
• Provide customers with important information on a variety of health plans as well as help the consumers choose plans that best fit their personal needs.
• Submit SharePoint Help-Desk Tickets for various reasons such as: Enrollment discrepancies with carriers, back-dating customer coverage, re-instating customer coverage and sending important information to the Covered California back office for health providers to access.
• Document transactional details accurately and provide appropriate follow ups. Exhibit a commitment to supporting a productive, positive work environment

Great place to work if you like persistent change
Bilingual Customer Support Agent (Former Employee), Spokane Valley, WAJune 23, 2015
Pros: Many team activities and potlucks
Cons: Too much changes in a short time, lack of timely communication, etc...
This workplace is a great place as a call center. If you like daily change, this may be the right place for you. Also, if you do not mind the persistent calls and people around you on a call, this is also ok for you. It is very unstable as the call center depends on an open enrollment period to help people with applications during winter time. I am one, that needs less noise, more stability, and structure in order to function.

Great place to work
Call Center Supervisor (Former Employee), Hampton, VAJune 19, 2015
Very busy but a great work atmosphere. I learned a lot about operations. I worked with some very talented people. The hardest part of the job was the constant changes. The most enjoyable part was working during the day and the freedom.

The company needs to have more benfits for the employee and be less on top of the employee. The employer needs to stop being strict and treat everyone like we are not important

Pros: Great events for HArland Clarke
Cons: short breaks, not enough pay, not teamplayers.
The staff are very nice and try to accommodate your well being. But some of the employees can be rude and ignorant. Everything was great except the outbound, inbound was a lot better.

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee), Orlando, FLMay 17, 2015
Pros: Opportunities for overtime if needed
Cons: no raises at all
This work environment allows you to embrace your culture without having to hide who you are. Other associates are very social and fun to be around. Management interacts with the associates. You have to be able to adapt to constant change. Open minded to high call volume throughout the week

Customer Service Agent (Former Employee), Orlando, FLMay 16, 2015
The company has good benefits for their employees. When the company undergoes changes they are not to clear in providing the employees timely information and if they do it's not clear so it causes some confusion.

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee), Sacramento, CAMay 14, 2015
Pros: next to no quification
Cons: short notice of layoffs and hours get cut with no warning.
It is a contracting company, they have a lot favoring employment. You are left in the dark often. Call volume from November until February is high. After that it is a fight for your job and not likely to know went it will end.

Money hungry and unorganized!
Service Center Representative (Former Employee), Sacramento, CAMay 10, 2015
As long as there was a warm body in a seat they didnt care about anything else because they new the state of California re-reimbursed them for every present person. In order to become a lead or manager they wanted you to kiss major behind, They did not go off of your experience or skills demonstrated on job.

AWI Employment Security Representative (Former Employee), Orlando, FLMay 4, 2015
Pros: cohesive team environment
Cons: N/A
Assisted new and established patients with unemployment claims for the state of FL. I've learned the steps for filing new claims and what can prohibit claims. The management staff and co-workers were all very helpful and so loving. Hardest part of the job was learning telling someone that they weren't approved for benefits. The most enjoyable part of the job was definitely the staff.

Faneuil Call Center Representative
Service Center Rep (Current Employee), Sacramento, CAApril 28, 2015
Pros: pay was good, full time is good.
Cons: commute, unorganized, unmanaged
Faneuil is a company that contracts with other companies. I worked under Faneuil with the State in California on Health Insurance for Covered California. The company itself seemed like a great place to work. However when I started, the company was poorly structured and managed during training period and during the work period. The company would change policies and regulations with less that a days notice. It was hard to keep up with all the new policies and rules. The supervisors and managers did not know how to do there jobs well. It was all very unorganized. Some of the co workers I have had were irresponsible and immature. The contract with Faneuil was temporary set to end in June 2015 however they are starting to cut back on people earlier.

Pros: short drive from home
Cons: short lunches
Just like any job it has it's pros and cons, overall all my supervisor is wonderful she is very receptive to issues amongst her team and sets a high standard. My co workers are very close nit and treats each other respectfully. I believe the hardest part of the job is not being able to do something when you have the ability to do but cannot not because of some drawn out procedure that still leaves the caller unsatisfied. And the most enjoyable part of the job again would be my team they make the time go by so fast and always has one another back.
