Customer service Rep (Former Employee) – Sacramento, CA – September 6, 2017
I enjoyed working with Faneuil , they are very caring and flexible to your personal issues at home. The learning experience was also enjoyable. The hiring process was quick and the orientation was paid as well.
Service Center Supervisor (Former Employee) – Sacramento, CA – August 16, 2017
This job is very fast paced and they expect you to reach some pretty hard goals and the place is filled with drama. The pay was alright, but with the customers you have to deal with and the goals you have to reach I think the pay should be a little more.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Martinsville, VA – August 15, 2017
If you are not the right color and age you will go no where here. Also, the gossip mongers reminds me of high school days. If you go in, mind your business, do your job, receive awards for doing a quality job, be on time and stay over when ask, you will absolutely go no where fast. This is a place for trouble makers and drama. If the managers or supervisors tell you something then believe the opposite, they all lie! And its like being in preschool with teacher pets. The upside would be the benefits. Although if you smoke, it costs you $40.00 more a month, and they never offered the quitting classes they promised but took the money anyway. My advise is stay in school and move out of the area to make something of yourself!
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Hampton, VA – August 15, 2017
Pretty good place to work at. The pay and benefits were good and it was easy to get into. Their hours however were not flexible and they did not have any tolerance for being late or missing days no matter the circumstance.
Supervisor (Former Employee) – Orlando, FL – August 7, 2017
As a toll collector, they receive a lot of abuse from the people that come through. People are rude when they are only doing their job. Its not a hard job physically, but it is stressful at times with the people that come through. As a supervisor, lots of running. Hardest part of job is losing so many good people.
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) – Clifton Forge, VA – August 6, 2017
Work is not bad if you can handle being yelled at by customers. Management tries to ease the workload. Culture is such that the supervisors attempt to ease any tension by providing meals they prepare and serve. Hardest part of the job by far is the unreasonable customers, which is always part of the customer service representative experience. No payment incentives, raises are non-existent. "Promotions" are all lateral movements. Supervisors and trainers are nice, but don't seem to really know what they're doing as far as management.
Free food from time to time
Customers that are unreasonable and will not accept explanation.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – South Boston, VA – August 5, 2017
I enjoyed the job tremendously. Helping customers was great and the software needed to so was easily learned. The hardest part was some very long work hours when inclement weather issues happen. Had to work many hours of overtime when a tornado hit Virginia. Required to be at work even in inclement weather.
Short lunches, No negotiatioins with personal issues
Great place to work. Management is great, fair and the people are nice.
Customer Care Representative (Former Employee) – Bristol, CT – July 25, 2017
Be to work on time. Pay attention to your adhearance and be friendly and always have a smile in your voice. Be a team player and help your teammates when needed. Everyone is so nice at Faneuil. The day goes by fast when it's very busy. Great place to work if you don't mind being on the phones.
Giveaways like gift cards when they have special events /games
