Cons: short breaks, no flexibility, and secondhand smoke
A typical day at work would be surrounded with a great team of co-workers and management, a lot of standing in one place, directing and delivering high levels of customer service to guest and VIP's, confidential data entry, and great knowledge of casino promotions and policies.
The hardest part of the job is just the fact that it is a company where – more... there is smoking and gambling. If you don't smoke, the secondhand smoke might annoy you and as for the guest 50/50 chances of gambling, your bound to have to help a frustrated and or dissatisfied guest every once in a while.
All you have to do is stay positive and do your best to turn every negative situation into a positive. I truly had a blast working for this company and I know they care for their employees a lot. – less
