Personal Banker (Former Employee) – Plainville, CT – July 25, 2017
I have never been so happy with a position before and was genuinely very upset when I had to leave due to moving out of state. This is absolutely a company I would work for again. Pay was good with commission and bonuses, hours were very reasonable and out of work at a decent time to be home with family. Flexible time off and vacation as long as your branch has a good scheduler.
good pay, fun atmosphere
on your feet a lot, several extracurricular mandatory meetings events and training's
Farmington Bank has several opportunities for partime employment
Personal Banker (Former Employee) – East Hartford, CT – February 1, 2017
It is extremely easy to stay on top of training as well as Policy and Procedure, and the exposure to customers was a plus. Paid vacation, holiday, and sick time. 401k Matched after 1 year. Great work environment, co-workers treated each other like family, training was very detailed, which prepared me for the work.
I've been working at Farmington Bank for 4 years now in the Residential Lending department. It's, by far, the best place I've worked. My boss cares about me and has presented plenty of opportunities for me to advance in my position. Co-workers are friendly. Management is fantastic. Farmington Bank truly cares about their employees. The morale here is great-a pleasant work environment with the perfect mixture of casual and professional.
excellent benefits, great pay & bonus potential
depending on department-ability to advance can be limited
Teller (Former Employee) – Unionville, CT – January 3, 2017
This is your average daily job. Not much to offer other than depositing checks and opening accounts. The main problem I have with this company are the branches. The branch I worked in was dull and employees weren't enthusiastic. The headquarters was the complete opposite which was misleading. Everybody there was friendly and happy to work and everything was modern and clean. I felt like I worked for a completely different company when I went to my branch. Some co-workers were quite rude to me especially since I was new and untrained. I decided to leave shortly after being hired due to this reason.

A typical day at work involves helping customers with their banking transactions while enlightening them to the benefits of our accounts and features offered from Farmington Bank. While ensuring each customer is served fully, and completely.

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Farmington, CT – May 4, 2016
Answer phones and assist customers. I learned about working in operations and not in the front office as on my other jobs. Good management. Loved the co-workers. Hardest part was I missed working with the public face to face. Enjoyable part-again this job was close to home and met some people that I worked with many years ago.
Senior Service Associate (Current Employee) – Farmington, CT – January 20, 2015
I have been in banking for one year. This has been a great experience, I was able to get promoted to a supervisor with in 6 months of me being with my company. I love the customer experience, because they have grown on me and the also trust me to be their personal banker The hardest part of my job would be operations and making sure my Service Associates are following company policy.
Farmington bank is a great Bank. They support their community and care about their employees. They have a Family comes first attitude. Management is great and employees are friendly and helpful. I worked with the commercial lenders and never felt taken advantage of. They have an employee appreciation week. Management is great also, they are smart knowledgeable and will listen to your ideas. Great Benefits with 401-K match and Employee Stock Plan.
Bank Secrecy Act Assistant (Current Employee) – Farmington, CT – March 8, 2013
A typical day at Farmington Bank working in the BSA/Bank Operations department is always busy with doing alot of customer service with both internal and external customers. Both management and co-workers help to make the long days of research on and for customers enjoyable and help pass the time. The hardest part of the days at Farmington Bank is when you have a elderly customer who, in conducting research, you find that they are being used and scammed by people. The family enviorment that is exibited at Farmington Bank makes even the hardest days enjoyable.
a typical day usually involves processing customers transaction in a very timely an professional manner. Team work was always essential and their was also fun involved to also make it even more rewarding. seeing the call on customers face was always very enjoyable.
