Before graduating from high school, I was paid just enough to go to prom but I had no room for advanced or to even be in cashier position. Some days I would just stand there for 8 hours and greet maybe a few customers a day. The manager never had nothing else for me to do. I love and miss working at fashion bug. My duties included operating the cash register, cleaning up the fitting rooms and putting new stock out to sell to customers. My favorite part of working at Fashion Bug was putting new clothes out onto the racks. i also loved the 40% off discount.

it was ok working there, depending on who i worked with was and if we could get along with one another, and working with each other as well, the customers kept me in a happy mood.

Great place to work, Always something to do, customers are great and love the help that they receive.

IT WAS GREAT WORKING AT FASHION BUG. I LEARNED SO MUCH. IT WAS GREAT TO LEARN HOW TO RUN THE STORE AS A MANAGER.

a typical day at work would be organizing merchandise, perfecting the clothing racks, asking customers if they would like to apply for a credit card, organizing sales, shoes, sunglasses, jewelry..
management was great, and am still friends with my old co-workers.
there really isn't anything hard about the job.
its a nice calm work environment

I worked for Fashion Bug for 16 years.I started at the very bottom and worked my way up the ladder. The most enjoyable part of the job was dealing with the customers and helping them create outfits, suggesting my ideas, them listening to what I had to say. Being treated like a friend. A typical dy at work was to provide customer service. Operating cash drawer and telephone lines. Putting away stock and handling inventory. I learned great customer service skills. I enjoy meeting peoole everyday. Love to help them out whatever they needed.

A typical day at Fashion Bug was productive. I always keeps myself busy. I learned how to steam and fold clothes. Management was nice. My co-workers where nice. Hardest part of the job was figuring out where clothes went(what section) but after a couple of month you get the hang of it. The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting new people.

My current job has had it's highs and lows with me. I like working with womens clothes. However, the hours and pay aren't really working for me anymore. It's not really somewhere I feel safe or stable anymore and that is a huge thing for me. I love my co-workers and my fellow managers, but work isn't about friends, it's about making money. The hardest – more...  part of my job is the LP factors that we have to deal with, and the unsure feeling of where the company will be in a year or five years. I do like the part time hours, but standing on my feet the whole time can be rough. I like being able to take vacation time or request a day off for a concert, but vacation time kills me with no benefits or paid days off. – less

I was a sales associate and my job was to stay on register get as many sales as possible and convince people to apply for our store credit card, I also have my skilled customer service and went through the store to help guest with their items and try to get them to look at our sales and accessories and at the same time keep track of our fitting rooms – more...  to make sure everyone is being helped by myself or with another associate. I communicate well with the sale leader’s, associates, and our store manager as well. Customers are well helped in the store and we would have our fashion shows to acknowledge people about fashion bug and welcome them in. – less

I believe it is a fun enviornment to work at. I Dont think that the manager has a grasp on accountability. She wants us to do something and she doesnt do it either. I have learned to deal with many different customers and their needs. My co-workers in general are really great! My day started out a little on the slow side as customers would not enter until around 11 am. But when the ball got rolling it was pretty busy. But I like busy. As part of the management team I was always fair with the associates and never asked them to do anything that I would not do myself. Fun place to work and full of great people to work with! They have awesome benefits and work around my college schedule very well!

Fashion bug has a great selection of clothing. They do very well with trying to get their brand out tot he customers. Fashion Bug was only a minimum paying job with no benefits except to the two managers in the store. I didn't enjoy my job and it wasn't a place that I looked forward to going to.

This job, overall, was an decent place to work. The coworkers were nice and made you feel at home.

Friendly retail clothing store in a fast pace environment. Customer service was absolutely necessary and always represented in a professional manner.

low prouctvity, no hours, low paying, upper management use a lot of Favoritism

Over all I enjoyed working for Fashion Bug. It was not an overly stressful job. Fast pace and productive.
