Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Gainesville, GA – April 22, 2014
Fast pace, excessive amount of customer service, file and faxing, management was fantastic, co-workers were helpful, hardest part of the job was the commute, the environment was extremely enjoyable and fun.
Customer Sales Representative (Former Employee), Dallas – April 2, 2014
busy busy busy. No downtime at all, which I liked. I doubled as Sales and Customer Sales (hired on as Customer Sales Representative). Most enjoyable part had to be helping my client come up with ideas for their sign the hardest part would be trying to take it slow and not get caught up in the hectic.
Intimate work enviornment (ten employees). Close knit group of people

Account Executive (Former Employee), Minnetonka, MN – March 4, 2014
Pros: good location
Cons: short to no breaks, no leadership
Typical day would be helping walk in customers, following up with outstanding balances, production, and sales calls for myself. Management was a little lax which caused for productivity to be down. It was a good group of people but not motivated enough to be were the potential was at. Having ideas and no one to listen was tough but once they were heard – more... was great. – less
Lead Graphic Designer (Former Employee), Pleasant Hill, CA – January 7, 2014
Pros: design freedom a bit
Cons: management - or lack there of
If it wasn't for the mismanagement this woiuld be a great job. Despite offering no benefits and asking to work extra hours for same pay rate there is design freedom. I enjoyed some of the workers but sadly in the end management and lack of respect on the job forced me to leave.
Fast Paced, Friendly and Sales Driven Sign Company
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Virginia – January 7, 2014
Excellent customer service is very important for this job! Client assistance via telephone, email, face-to-face, and fax is how you will communicate with others. It is very important to stay on top of inquires and questions a client may have - this is how to be successful. I learned that time management is extremely important for this line of work, – more... if not, you will quickly lose a sale, or worse, a client. Management and co-workers are all very friendly and tend to help out in a time of need; we definitely had each other's backs. The most enjoyable part of the job was assisting clients with their needs - I thoroughly enjoy helping others! – less
Graphic Design (Former Employee), Murray, UT – December 12, 2013
Pros: discount of product was exceptional
Cons: the commute was horrible, but for the love of my work i drove.
Created new files and customer provided files for output on large format printers. Also managed and maintained programs and equipment for vinyl cutting and output. My direct co-worker was pleasant to work with and taught me a lot of new skills in the industry. The hardest part of my job was creativeness under extreme time pressure, however I exceeded – more... in my ability to produce well designed products for the consumer. And of course my most enjoyable part is actually my job i love to create and design for everything – less
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), San Mateo, CA – November 8, 2013
The best part of my job is dealing with customers but it could also be the worst part of the job. I enjoyed working with a wide variety of clients to help fulfill their vision. I learned that you can't please everybody. Sometimes management and production didn't see eye to eye. Working together to meet our common goals provided the best satisfaction.
Office Assistant (Former Employee), Irving, Texas – November 7, 2013
Pros: working with such great people
Cons: moving away
This was one of the most rewarding companies to work for. As a small company they allowed me to learn every position available while working and a fulltime student they did what they could to help me to succeed and become a success in the company.
Great co. It's just working for a family is hard, especially when it's a small business & all the employees are family but you. There was open hostility toward one another & toward me for THE SLIGHTEST of errors, errors that occurred well before the print phase, errors that occurred during the PROOF phase. I might add I'd only been there 5weeks so the – more... writing was on the wall. Familiarity breeds contempt. Beware. – less
Graphic Designer (Current Employee), Jacksonville, FL – May 29, 2013
I have learned a ton of different skills working in such a fast paced environment. Multitasking is an understatement. I've had to deal with very short and fickle deadlines on a daily basis. This has required a lot of patience and resolve. At the end of the day we've always been able to complete the task at hand to meet or exceed the clients expectations. – more... These tasks have varied from designing an effective ad campaign to just implementing their own brand standards across all of their signage. I have enjoyed working in a close team environment that has allowed personal goals as well as team goals to be met. – less
Assistant Manager (Former Employee), Baton Rouge, LA – April 5, 2013
Pros: hour lunch, paid holidays, great health insurance, family atmosphere
Cons: cold calling
Days are monday thru friday 8:30 till 5pm. I learned an entire industry and then some. My co-workers were helpful, patient and fun to work with every day. The hardest part of the job was learning how to envision what the client had in mind the first time and to find that perfect balance between the right product and the right price. The most enjoyable – more... part of the job is passing different example of your work every day all over town and getting to say : "I made that!" – less
