Cashier/Customer Service (Current Employee), Mesa, AZDecember 29, 2013
Pros: i get discounts and hour long breaks.
Cons: no free food and i don't get 40 hours a week.
My typical day at work would be working the cashier, making sure everyhting is clean in the dining room, and sometimes I will cook. I learned how to multitask really good. The hardest part of my job would be keeping up with a rush and remembering what burgers are finished and not finished. My co workers are very helpful and reliable.

Cook (Current Employee), Las Vegas, NVJuly 23, 2013
Pros: great environment
Cons: no benefits
The most enjoyable part of this job is the teamwork we all set. We help each other when needed and provide customer satisfaction. During normal working hours we are required to wear uniform as indicated in the Employment packet, apron, non-slip shoes, and a hat. This job is very busy so we have to match its rhythm by conquering the timing and perfection – more... of the food. – less

Short Order Cook (Former Employee), Huntington Park, CAMarch 6, 2013
Pros: time passes by insanely quickly
Cons: terrible management
Work day was slow, hardly any business which was shocking since this was Fatburger, but for the location where it sat, it was clear why hardly anyone wanted to come in and eat. Co-workers were nice, had a fun time with my team on the Grill from day one of training, all the way until we were cut off from work altogether. Hardest part of the job was to – more... keep up with the orders when everyone arrived for lunch, it was a challenge, but I managed to survive, it was a great learning experience for me. The most enjoyable part of the job was that I got to work, that and I was able to make myself feel accomplished for the time I spent. – less

Cashier/waitress/cook (Former Employee), Englewood, COJanuary 20, 2013
Pros: free lunch, 30 breaks.
My days at Fatburger where always filled with smiles, laughter, and dedicated workers. I learned how to cook 8 burgers at once and be a dependable team member. The hardest part of the job was taking outh the trash, and a unhappy customer. The most enjoyable part of the job to me was everything. I was a happier person when I was at work, and I always – more... gave my best to my employer and I loved it. – less

cooker/cashier/shiftleader/trainer (Former Employee), Las Vegas NevadaDecember 29, 2012
Pros: free lunches
Cons: no good insurance
a typical day of work started at 6am prepping everything before store opens and then either if I was cooking or I was on the register. With this job I've learned to always do your best on everything you do especially customers satisfaction. The manager we had was one of the best ones out there she always knew how to approach us with any matter that – more... came to her. I had great co-workers always playing as a team. The hardest part of my job was dicing onions other than that everything pretty much was easy. The most enjoyable part of my job was interacting with the customers and always making them leave with a smile on they're face. – less
