I applied to Fedex last year for a customer service associate job and was denied, I didn't even get an interview. When I applied I had four years experience in customer service and a Bachelor's degree in government and I was still not even given an interview. Now I've applied for a Center Manager position and I'm wondering what are my chances there? I'm fairly certain I did well on the questionnaire, and I have managed my own small business for the past couple months so I do have management experience. So do you think I even stand a chance as at getting that position or am I gonna need an MBA before they even look at me?

Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at FedEx?
Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?
What is a typical day in the life of an employee at FedEx?

Do you work at FedEx? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?
Any advice for someone trying to get in?

So I am in the last phase of the interview process for FedEx with Inside Sales. As part of my interview they sent me a spreadsheet containing a sample territory located in a specific market and I am supposed to use Powerpoint and present a sales plan to grow this territory. Having a hard time coming up with something seeing as how I have never done this before. The presentation is only 10 minutes...
I can't upload the spreadsheet for you to look at but perhaps you could list your email and I can send it to you. Just need some ideas or if someone has been through this before.
Thanks.

Just curious, I recently had an interview with FedEx smartpost and wanted to know what a reasonable amount of time to wait is to expect a response. I just interviewed Thursday so I know it might be a little premature to start worrying. Plus the HR person told me they would let me know either way but I'm still just anxious. Does anybody know the process. Will fedex really let me know either way.
Thanks

FedEX hiring practices are astonishing. They have no problem wasting your time for a job that MAY comeup 6 months from now.
FEDEX Advertises a job that really doesn't exist just so they can fill their "potential employee funnel". FEDEX makes you show up for an entire day of testing with 40 other down-and-out people in the room just so they can put you in a funnel for a potential job that may come up 6 months from now....courier? not a chance, you'll be on a dock sorting packages
THE ARROGANCE OF THIS COMPANY TOWARDS JOB-SEEKERS IS APPAULING

Recently, I interviewed with a headhunter who used to work at FedEx. He knows the district sales manager so he was able to setup an interview. It's been awhile since I've interviewed and I have no idea what to expect. Could you provide a good checklist or "to do" so that I can ensure that I'm prepared? Not feeling ready at this point. Thanks.

I presently work part-time on the docks at Fedx and resently applied for driver trainee program. Many questions, pay while training? length of training and difficulty of passing ?
Thanks, Larry
