Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (the Bank) provides funds to its members. All federally-insured depository institutions, community development financial institutions (CDFIs) and insurance companies that have a principal place of business located in Indiana or Michigan are eligible to become members of the Bank. The bank also purchases conforming, medium- and long-term, fixed-rate mortgage loans from its members and provide members with certain correspondent services, such as securities safekeeping and wire transfers. The Bank manages its operations by grouping products and services within two business segments. These business segments are Traditional Funding, Investments, and Deposit Products (Traditional) and the Mortgage Purchase Program (MPP).
