Government sponsored loan organization is seeking an experienced loan & short sale processor to join our team.
Processor should be experienced with FHA, VA, Homepath, Jumbo and conventional loan products.
Duties: Processor will package and submit mortgage loans and short sales. Processor will correspond with sales staff, underwriters and short sale negotiators.
Analyze loan files, prepare disclosures and obtain supporting documentation.
Pre-approve loans within specified limits (DU), and refer loan applications outside those limits to management for approval.
Field communication between underwriters and loan officers.
Field communication between short sale negotiators and real estate agents.
Review and update credit and loan files.
Work with loan officer to aid in resolving mortgage application problems.
Work with real estate agents to aid in resolving short sale application problems.
Review disclosures and loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.
Obtain conditions and take appropriate action to satisfy them.
Detail all client interaction in CMS (SalesForce).
Ideal candidate will be able to:

Compile and submit complete file.

Exhibit ability to communicate effectively.
Demonstrate ability to work with Outlook and Calyx Point. SalesForce preferred but not required.
Organize, plan and prioritize work so that tasks are in line with organizations goals.
Demonstrate active listening, time management and reading comprehension and public.
Utilize complex problem solving, active learning, and positive decision making.
Qualifications / Education:
Although license is preferred, processor is not required to have an NMLS or DRE license.
Minimum 1 year experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
