Position Description: The Information Systems Specialist provides automation support in the areas of Human Resources Management and/or Financials Management. This position requires extensive knowledge of both the information technology and financial or human resources management fields of study.
Position Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in information systems study, or related discipline. Combination of five years’ experience in IT applications development including; project management, requirements definition, analysis, system design, development, testing, and production support. Five plus years of functional experience in implementations and support for PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) products including: Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Recruit Workforce, Position Management, Payroll for North America, and Workflow desirable. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) PeopleSoft HelpDesk for HR is a plus. Detailed business functional knowledge and extensive process and application automation knowledge.
Participate with the ASAP team in support of the PeopleSoft HCM application. Provide support with setup changes, system administration, implementations, testing, user training and business process documentation. Meet business needs and provide accurate, responsive support to production issues. Responsibilities may include: consulting with users to define and document requirements; working with developers to code and test requirements; utilizing SQR and/or BI Publisher to provide reports; providing guidance and advice for process re-engineering; and setting up/customizing Workflow and Self-Service modules. Work effectively as a team member and provide excellent customer support to client users.
