Contact Center Representative (Current Employee), Downey, CAFebruary 24, 2014
An overall positive ambiance at work each and every day! There is a huge sense of family when it comes to the atmosphere at FPCU, something that isn't always offered in every career opportunity.

Indirect Lending, Dealer Representative (Former Employee), Downey, CaliforniaJanuary 24, 2014
Pros: ability to work remotely due to all of the constant traveling
Cons: constant traveling - territory was all of southern california - san diego county, orange county, la county, ventura county, riverside county
Indirect Lending Representative -
Solely created and successfully launched indirect lending program.

Traveled 90% of the time to coordinate/partner with automotive dealerships to successfully exceed target monthly goals

Worked with lending team to steam line loan production

Hardest part of the job was constant traveling and on call availability. – more... Worked dealership hours, so late nights and holidays - would have to be readily available.

Most enjoyable part of the job was flexibility. Could work early mornings through late evenings...dealerships seemed to be always open. – less

Member Service Representative (Former Employee), Downey, CAMay 14, 2013
Pros: great co-workers
Cons: start functioning too much like a bank, more about sales than service
FPCU was a great place to work, it was a very member service oriented company. However, it started functioning more like a bank, becoming more vested in increasing sales and membership numbers than service. One huge draw back, which occurred after I left, they put in a bullet proof glass winder between the tellers and members.

Financial Service Advisor (Former Employee), Downey, CAJuly 27, 2012
I assisted over 30 customers daily with their deposit accounts and loans. I was also responsible for verifying income on all loan applications that i submitted. Thet most enjoyable part of this job was to take on different roles, such as operations manager, underwriting, etc.
