Turbine Operator, I work in the basment. - August 19, 2015
We work 12 hour rotating shifts, two days on two days off, two week intervals and then switch. I punch in at 7am or pm. I do my job as described previously. we have very unsafe working conditions and things are getting worse. In the 14 yrs I have worked here, I have seen 4 C.E.O's come extract as much money as possible out of the company, While investing little, they have cut back our work force to unstable levels, and piled responsibilities on the remaining few, things are getting dangerous.
I have learned many skills here, and for that I am grateful. My co-workers are my professional friends, and I think of them as such.
The hardest part of my job is going in and working for a CEO whom has stated that, "If I had my way ? You would all be working on the Cast system"
If I am ever blessed with an opportunity to prove my self worth and skill for another company I would be grateful. I am not a greedy person, I will go above and beyond for an employer whom rules with a fair and Honest demeanor, One whom of which values the American worker is a must.
