Productive fun enviroment.
Cashier (Current Employee), Charlotte,NC – March 19, 2013
Typical day at work would be, ringing out customers. Writing up shoes, helping customers get shoes. And Catering to the customers needs. I've learned that you always need to satisfy the customer so they will continue to shop with the company. My managers are cool for the most part. We all have our good and bad days. My co-workers are all really nice – more... people. I have no complaints. There is really not a hard part of this job. The most enjoyable part of this job is the discount. – less

Good job. Gave you all the right tools to do the job correctly. Only problem was advancement. I worked there for 3 years and never had an opportunity to advance.

Hostess/ Waitress
Hostess/Waitress (Former Employee), Princeton, mn – March 15, 2013
Prepping food, dishes, taking orders, cleaning dining room and greeting customers. I learned how to multi-task very well with this job. While taking orders, I also accommodated my customers. I could prep food and discuss orders with the back. I could ring more than one order at a time. I was self sufficient and worked quick. This resturaunt was all – more... about team and I really enjoyed the people I worked with. I didn't care for my management or benefits. – less

Very friendly enviroment
Sales and crew member (Former Employee), Manchester, NH – March 13, 2013
Pros: free lunches
Cons: short breaks
A typical day at Finish Line starts off kind of slow as you wait for customers to come in, but theres always something such as opening procedures, inventory counting, & draw counts. Each day you learn something such as how to apporach an customer and what new product were being advertised throughtout the company. My Co- workers were awesome so friendly, – more... motivating, and great to be around. I would say the hardest part about this job is getting sales on a slow day but for the most part i'd say I perserved throught those times quite well. The most enjoyable part about Finish Line is talking with the different people you meet everyday and just being in such a great and exciting work enviroment – less

It was a fun workplace because mainly everybody was around my age.
Sales Associate (Former Employee), Springfield, IL – March 7, 2013
Pros: discount on shoes
Cons: short hours and small pay.
I liked working for Finish Line for the post part but after a while at that pay and those hours it was better to just quit. The days I worked their were fun and went by fast but I wasn't really bringing enough home to spend so much time going there.

Fun place to work as a younger adult.
Lead cashier (Former Employee), Cerritos, CA – February 4, 2013
Pros: fun and laid back environment to work in.
Cons: little pay.
The pay isn't great, but it was a good place to start working. I was the lead cashier there, but I also had to go in the back to find shoes for customers sometimes, which I found difficult because there were so many shoes back there and it was hard to memorize where they all were.

Sales Associate (Current Employee), Holyoke, MA – January 26, 2013
What I like about Finish Line is that there is a high expectation of employees, but you are given the training and tools to meet and exceed those expectations. Commission-based pay keeps my co-workerd and I competitive and there is never a boring moment due to the constantly changing environment.
