About First Baptist Church
We are a cooperative church. We work with Baptist organizations in missions and other programs and with churches of other denominations in Athens in providing worship services, convocations, and concerts. We engage in worship and mission projects with African, American Churches, and we seek to be an agent for racial harmony in the community.
