Loved the hours, most weekends off,Loved the customers.
Cashier,waitress,server,cook (Former Employee), Hickory, NC – August 1, 2012
Pros: free lunches, mostly day time hours, not many weekends
Cons: no advance notice on schedules, not able to have an opionion or ask questions.
Set up for lunch, salad bar etc., prepared food,Took orders, served customers, rang up orders, broke down steam table, salad bar, cleaned up the kitchen, helped put away dishes and left over food. Management was impatient, overly critical, obsessed over trivial things. most of the co-workers were afraid for their jobs. Out for themselves. Trying to be perfect – more... all the time so I wouldn't get fussed at. The food was very good. The customers were very nice. – less

Stressful
Nursery Supervisor (Former Employee), Weatherford, TX – July 29, 2012
I was in charge of Sundays and Wednesdays in the church nursery, I was to insure a certain number of workers per kid. Also a curriculum with activities for each room. Many times there was short notice to things needing to be done and a very low number of teachers which led to a stressful work atmosphere.

Positive environment, great community
Administrative Assist./Digital Marketing Director (Former Employee), Eugene, OR – July 26, 2012
Pros: amazing co-workers, good management, positive environment, satisfying work
Cons: very little pay for amount of work done
My days consisted of blogging, tweeting, responding to messages and e-mails, organizing and coordinating events, mentoring students and running and maintaining various sound and tech equipment.
I learned a great deal about time management, organizational skills, patience, how to connect and communicate with people outside of the organization, the importance – more... of edge-work, and how to lead and be lead. – less

Family like workplace
preschool teacher (Former Employee), Granbury, TX – July 17, 2012
Pros: fun, loving, learning
Cons: not enough hours and pay
A typical work day was fun filled with one year olds.
I learned how to manage a classroom full of one year olds.
Management is friendly and helpful.
Coworkers were caring and team oriented for the kids.
I think the hardiest thing about the job is getting so attached to kids and then at the end of year they move into another classroom.
Seeing the growth – more... and development of the children and their learning. – less

Child Care for children ages 6 weeks to 4 uears
Day Care Teacher (Former Employee), Pine Bluff, AR – July 10, 2012
Pros: watching realize he has learned something and the self esteem come forth.
Cons: parents without any type of control, no discipline, working on potty training when parents didnt do the same.
So that my oldest child could learn to play with other children I brought to our church day care and while I was there the preacher asked of I wanted to teach the other three year old class. I found out real quick that 12 three year olds in one class was a larger challenge than I wanted!

Summary First Baptist Church
Adult/Children’s Secretary (Former Employee), Columbus, MS – May 11, 2012
Pros: free lunches when provided, flexibility
Cons: lifting
A typical day at work was very enjoyable. I learned to work well with older adults, interact with children and get things done in a timely fashion. Also, I learned to work with different software such as Pagemaker. Management was proficient, kind and nice to work for. My co-workers were the best. We got along very well .

The hardest part of the job – more... was making sure that the church bulletin was proofread and done accurately.

The most enjoyable part of the job was working with the elderly, children and my daily activities. – less
