Position summary:
Under the direction of the supervisor, the Intake Assistant assists in initiating the process for admission of new patients to home health or hospice, and helps other co-workers with intake procedures as needed. In conjunction, they will also act as a Telehealth Assistant. In this role they are responsible for accurate inventory management of the telehealth equipment, accurate and timely documentation for installation, troubleshooting, cleaning of the equipment, and any other duties required under the direction of the supervisor.
Job Requirements:

Good customer service skills
Types 30-35 wpm accurately
Experience with office computer systems
Medical terminology is a plus

Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent
CNA certification preferred but not required

Working Conditions
Typical office setting.
