Fisher Engineering was established in 1989 by James R. Fisher, P.E. Operating from a home office, services were provided to individuals, Professional Surveyors and Municipalities. The first projects involved the design of on-lot sewage systems and the design of stormwater management facilities as a subconsultant to area Surveyors. In the summer of 1989, Centre Township appointed Fisher Engineering as the Township's Engineer (and we've been their engineer ever since!), and the Municipal Services aspect of the firm began.
In 1994, Fisher Engineering was incorporated, and in 2001 the main office relocated to an 1875 brick structure in the Lincoln section of Ephrata, Lancaster County. In 2006 the main office moved to larger facilities - a converted barn circa 1856 - at 901 Dawn Avenue in Ephrata. A branch office was opened in 1995 in Bethel, Berks County in order to continue to serve our clients locally in Schuylkill and northern Lebanon and Berks Counties.
Today, Fisher Engineering, Inc. provides Civil, Sanitary, and Environmental Services throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding areas from our offices in Bethel and Ephrata.
