mistreatment of employees by management

I can speak for the Gold Coast location only. The GM will treat you like an after thought, his actions are dismissive and show that every employee is beneath him and all are replaceable.
Spa management is incapable and inexperienced, he will request help from anyone willing to do the work. He will take all of the credit and you will feel as though you wasted your time and effort because there will never be any gratitude or compensation. He will also give your shifts away and place you on new days and times at his pleasure, without consulting you first.
The spa is an after though, there is no concern given to promoting it to the club members aside from you giving away free massage in the gym of which you will not be compensated for. From experience you will gain very few clients because they will expect the free service. You will be expected to make a goal but will rarely come close to it because the spa is rarely busy.
The only pro to this location are the people (coworkers). They are genuinely good people and hard workers and it is truly heartbreaking to watch them be mistreated and taken for granted.
One final thought, the disease of indifference and disdain starts at the top of this company and trickles downward and will most likely never change. Steer clear of FFC if you can.
