Good for the experience, not much else
Medical Scribe (Former Employee) –  Syracuse, NYSeptember 21, 2017
Only good to see if you are interesting in being a provider and hours for PA school if you need them. Shifts are technically 8-8 but you have to be there at 745am and leave very rarely at 8pm. The time you leave varies every shift which is not accommodating for those with kids. Expect to do other people’s job to be a “team player” including occ med and front desk work, but you will not be compensated for the extra work. Company was bought by aspen dental who is trying to expand it quicker than it should due to high turn over rates among pretty much all staff. Management does not care about staff’s personal life and will give you trouble with needing time off if something comes up last minute. Also due to understaffing and turnover rates you are constantly harassed to pick up shifts by other scribes (have to find your own coverage) or management to fill gaps.

Experience hours

Not worth the time
Receptionist (Former Employee) –  Liverpool, NYApril 12, 2017
A typical day being a receptionist here is basically registering patients and cleaning. Although I did learn a lot working here, I do not recommend it. Management tries to seem involved, when in reality they're lazy and don't care about you. The hardest part of the job is difficult patients, which is manageable. The most enjoyable part is that they have a lot of food parties along with some of the nice people you get to meet.
Pros
Food parties, make friends, easy to advance

Decent place to work, co-workers are difficult with each other. The company is growing right now so there are a lot of moving parts.
hardest part about the job was that it is only one person handling 10+ locations for collections.
