Concierge, Columbus, OH - November 6, 2015
When I first started it was such a great company to work for. After a while, I was put into uncomfortable situations by the patients. The office is located in a very unsafe area and the majority of the patients were criminals. I had patients threaten me (and I got in trouble for that), and patients getting jumped in the parking lot which was also apparently my fault. The office is way understaffed and I would often work up to 60 hour weeks, and they didn't want to pay me time and a half for all of my overtime. I did not get any of the proper training others had gotten and was thrown in and had to figure everything out for myself. I worked my hardest and it still wasn't enough. No matter what I did and how much I did, something was always criticized and I never did anything right. I would get blamed for other people's mistakes even when I wasn't in the office that day. The majority of the doctors only care about making money instead of helping people. The doctors treat the other staff so horribly by criticizing our every move and yelling at us when they aren't satisfied. I also witnessed one doctor refuse a patient who was in extreme pain simply because they were another doctor in the office's patient. The doctors are so fake and talk about everyone behind their back (co-workers and patients) and it's just a bunch of unnecessary high school drama. The owners are never in the building, especially when the office is understaffed. They're never there to help out because they're always on vacation. The owners are very unprofessional and rude to all employees- this is unless you're a doctor. And if a doctor doesn't like you? That's it. Your job is gone. Many people were discharged wrongfully; no reason at all, mainly because they didn't care for you. And finally, I maybe got a total of FOUR breaks in the six months I was there. And I often worked 14 hours straight. This company does everything they can to suck the life out of you.
