Pros: coworkers
Cons: healthcare in private division is terrible
FJC is mired in terrible management. They routinely reward those who screw up at low paying sites by giving them better paying sites

Security Guard (Former Employee), Long Island City, NYApril 1, 2015
Pros: Good pay and great co-workers.
Cons: Post Alpha after 4 am (Commercial traffic escorted on runways.
I only worked for FJC for about one year, of the four years or so at JFK. FJC brought new vehicles to the site, which was great. Driving in new vehicle made it safe to patrol the airport and their long – more... term parking, as well as employee parking areas. All the workers were the best to work with. Numerous posts were available, which made the job less cut throat. Driving all the way to JFK was difficult, but having your own parking space made it worth the ride. – less

Its a good place to work, just need a better opportunity. A regular day for me is dealing with clients and DHS work. I learned how to manage irrate clients. Team player, dealing with the clients are the hardest, the best part of this job is helping people that i deal with.

Providing adequate security protection and communicaton to the clients and staff at a Federal facility.
Contractor Federal Armed Protective Officer (Current Employee), Houston, TexasJuly 1, 2014
Pros: fjc provides secret clearances through dept of homeland security
Cons: fjc provided a healthcare benfits which were considered as a supplement insurance
While working as a Contractor Federal Protective Officer, at the Social Security Administration a typical day at work is extremely busy. Being able to provide security protection to the staff and to government – more... property. I learned what an individual can and can't do while attending a Federal building, also enforce rules and regulations and abide by the Federal Codes. I interact with Security Administration Management when conducting citations and court hearings. I work alone, providing security to more than 200-450 individuals daily passing through the Social Security Office. The hardest part of the job is trying to make everyone happy that interact with me about the Social Security issue. The most enjoyable part of my job is providing the best communication and protection to clients and staff, make sure everyone who enter the Social Security Administration depart safely. – less

Wonderful working environment to be in, friendly tents and always keeping busy which was a plus for me.
Security Services Security Officer (Former Employee), Long Island, NYMay 30, 2012
Pros: friendly share holders, tents and just the type of place you love to work at.
Cons: i miss them all because i am here in boston bettering my life by going to school at uti in norwood.
Wonderful working environment to be in, friendly tents and always keeping busy which was a plus for me and meeting new people, those who live at the Dwyer Condo and those who came to visit. The Team work – more... was always 110% and we was one happy family there, I miss my crew very much and I do keep in touch with them in New York to see how they and their families are doing.

The Parties they host on the roof was always something to be admired on the monitors and from time to time the tents who share holders of the Condo would bring something if they knew I had not ate within the day, like I said before we was like one happy family and I always make sure to conduct myself in a professional manner for the 8-16 hours I would work there. – less
