Does NOT value employees or treat them well.
RN (Current Employee) – Saint Augustine, FL – January 27, 2017
Management doesn't communicate well, and departments don't communicate with each other very well - very dysfunctional; does not give raises, other than a one time across the board 2.5% raise to employees in 2016 (5% for nurses). It was made clear that this was a one time event. They will tell you that folks get bonuses, however your salary will not increase. Otherwise, once employed, you will not get rewarded monetarily for good work.
Staff morale overall is low because they don't feel valued. There are people in leadership positions that seem to be over their heads, making, then reneging on decisions with regularity and without explanation. Administration appears to only listen to physicians (and even then, not always) and seems mystified by this continuing morale issue.
Very dysfunctional, do not work here unless you are prepared to deal with frustration and chaos. There are good people here in every department, but overall the way employees are disregarded and devalued is shameful.
Nice building, ability to work in St. Augustine
