The thing I appreciated the most about Flav-O-Rich/Borden was its wages and benefits. It had real good insurance, including optical and dental. The thing I disliked the most was the constantly changing schedule. I am very actice in my home church, holding various positions there. I was forced to work on Sunday for many months and, just when it looked like I would get a schedule more compatible to my church and family life, the company would change the schedules again. It was very frustrating. A typical day at work included paperwork, checking items, and interacting with my supervisor and co-workers. I learned the importance of accuracy and the ability to multi-task. The hardest part of the job was trying to keep up with moving items at a high rate of speed. The most enjoyable part of the job was interacting with my co-workers and the feeling at the end of the shift of a job well done.
