As a Senior ETL Developer, you will assure the success of our novel big data product by improving our systems of taking in turbine-level data and utilizing it optimally. You will be working with a team of expert data scientists to perfect an existing SaaS that helps significantly expand the use of renewable energy technologies. This is an opportunity to use the deep competencies developed in the IT industry to solve industrial problems at a large scale.

Skills & Requirements
Design and develop applications using J2EE, core Java, Spring framework, JDBC, and JPA (familiarity with new features in J2EE 6 is preferred)
Design and develop RESTful web services using jersey-spring (familiar with JSON format)
Experience of developing applications/web services using Spring framework combined with Hibernate
Familiar with SQL, PL/SQL, and application data modeling
Experience of deploying Web services/J2EE applications in glassfish server
Familiar with professional development environment. e.g., IDE, maven, SVN, and Bug tracking
Experience of application server setup and configuration (Glassfish server is a plus)
Experience of database administration
Experience of ETL design and programming using Java (familiarity with Spring batch is a big plus)
Familiar with MapReduce programming.
Experience of setting up and configuring Hadoop Clusters
Experience of development environment setup and maintenance; e.g., install/manage SVN, Bugzilla server, and Hudson server
Knowledge of machine learning
Familiarity with Linux server
