1st clerk (Former Employee), National City, CANovember 13, 2013
Pros: get to meat a lot of nice people
Cons: not enough hours after holidays. over loads of work depends one person.
in this job you do a lot of maintaining clean. one hour sweeping and picking up perishables. Another hour pushing 500 carts for customers to get there groceries. and another taking calls running aisles. I don't mined the hard labor. in the mornings I would help out with perishables and help out clean the floor ripping card bored and lifting 50 pound – more... pallets and stacking tem 6 ft. high. I also get to help out customers with there groceries. An average day consists of triple tasking all day. Especialy when some one dose n ot come in for there shift. – less

Pros: i would get paid for holidays
Cons: short breaks and benefits
What I learned at my job is to work productive and efficient. I learned to thrive and do well by achieving success and getting along well with my co-workers. The hardest part of the job was to work in a fast paced and environment and multi-task in everything.

Not productive at all.
Utility First Clerk (Former Employee), Perris, CAJune 5, 2013
Pros: n/a
Cons: unfair managemt, unfair behavior records, being written up for doing your duties.
Typical day at work was complete horrid and hectic.

I learned customer service working at Food4Less.

Management was terrible, wrote workers up for doing their duties as workers for their environment.

Co-workers weren't exciting to work with.

Hardest part of Food4Less was not getting in trouble for doing your duties correctly.

The most enjoyable – more... part was going home. – less

Meat Clerk (Former Employee), Los Angeles, CAMay 14, 2013
Pros: being able to create great meat selections for the customer.
Cons: not enough hours
Top of the work day would be to rotate meat case. Stock meat case than wrap meats that would be coming out and placed into meat case for the next shift. I learned the importance of keeping meat rotated because of the heath purposes but more so how to manage product. The hardest part of any day is not having enough product ready for rush periods. My – more... most enjoyable part of the job was making sure the customers were satisfied. – less
