Corporate Human Resource Manager (Former Employee) – Alice, TX – November 30, 2016
Respectfully this is a company that went from a small mom and pop to a publicly traded company rather quickly. This company was working through growing pains which is typical with rapid growth such as this. Part of my job was to help transition and train managers in areas of human resource compliance, employee relations, and legal requirements. The oilfield then took a plunge and hundreds were laid off.

I had the pleasure to work with some really great folks here. I found mid management to be appreciative and respectful. This company grew so fast and in the process left many locations to fend for themselves with little support. Over the last two years we made great efforts to streamline and develop training and sops. However, with the downturn in the oil market the company has had no choice but to make extreme cutbacks and downsize. With a bounce back in the market, this company could very well continue to make strides toward becoming an industry leader. It will just take time.
