Terrible
Sales Associate (Current Employee), Aventura, FLAugust 13, 2014
Pros: my coworkers
Cons: mean manager
I loved working my first year but after management became terrible. Everybody began quitting some people got fired it is horrible. We never enjoy coming to work like before we hate it we are basically slaves and we never hear thank you for our hard work. We perform customer service, we greet, help customers give them information about our great deals – more... keep the sales floor clean. – less

Stock and Inventory Associate/Maintenance  (Former Employee), Mobile, ALAugust 13, 2014
The management team sucks and RULE like a dictatorship there is no input from the employees the environment is friendly between co workers but there is favoritism with certain managers as for hours and schedule times and pay also the managers show no sense of professionalism

Great place to grow.
SALES ASSOCIATE (Former Employee), Toledo, OHAugust 9, 2014
Pros: wonderful fellow employees and customer satisfation
Cons: not always the most professional managers
During a typical day at work here I would make sure clothing items were squared away and offer friendly and helpful customer service. I 've learned that no matter how hard you work there won't always be someone there to tell you how great of a job you are doing and that you have to tell yourself that instead. I created long lasting relationships with – more... my co-workers and I couldn't be any happier with that. The hardest part of the job would be dealing with customers who expect more than what the business entails. For example, steaming clothing and put a bag over it, but this is also a compliment to the business that the customers see Forever 21 as a higher end retail store. The best part of the job was being able to play with my own personal style and help customers find theirs. – less

fun place to work
Sales Associate (Former Employee), Des Peres, MOAugust 7, 2014
Pros: fun environment
Cons: short breaks, low pay, only 10% discount
loved working here, the coworkers and managers were great. the music was a little irritating after a while, but that's tolerable. the discount was barely a discount (10%) and there isn't much room for advancement in the company.

Busy and easy workplace
Sales Associate (Former Employee), Oklahoma City, OKAugust 4, 2014
Pros: discounts
Cons: short breaks, standing all day
A typical day at work would be a busy at work. There are many customers coming in and out of the store and many of them are friendly and would ask for assistant; as my job, I would provide it to them. The management of the store was fairly good. The managers are always running around getting things done and they made sure their employees were doing – more... their job as well. My co-workers were very nice and helpful. The hardest part of the job would be standing all day. The most enjoyable part of the job would be being able to provide the customers what they want to their full satisfaction. – less

Fun Atmosphere for Early Career
VISUAL MANAGER (Former Employee), CAAugust 4, 2014
Management varies greatly from location to location
Company not really in line with it's "Christian" beliefs
Fun environment, if you are working with the right team
Compensation for management has too much of a grey area which allows upper management to easily find ways to deny earned bonuses

Great opportunity to gain retail knowledge
Sales Associate (Former Employee), Towson, MDAugust 2, 2014
Pros: opportunities to learn merchandising task
Cons: short breaks
Working at Forever 21 allowed me to learn, not only about being an excellent sales associate, but also how to merchandise and display merchandise. Co-workers in higher positions were more than willing to pass on their knowledge in order for you to advance in the company as well. I mostly enjoyed assisting customers.

Sales Associate (Former Employee), Cherry Hill, NJJuly 29, 2014
A typical day at this job is getting a section of the store from the manager and making sure its organized and all the cloths are in the right place. I learn to be patient with costumers and make sure what they want comes first. The management was bad when I worked there because the managers we had were very unorganized and unprofessional as well as – more... the co-workers but I managed to do my task. The hardest part of this job was keeping your section clean and attending a costumers needs. The most enjoyable part of this job was seeing your section clean and handled. – less

Everyday retail job with a fashion savvy atmosphere
CASHIER/SALES ASSOCIATE (Current Employee), Sunrise, FLJuly 26, 2014
as a sales associate working on the floor consist of cleaning and doing go-backs (putting unwanted clothes back). i learned how to maintain a section and as a team leader i was in charge of assigning breaks and making sure other coworkers tasks were completed. Co-workers are nice, sometimes a bit annoying but for the most part everyone was friendly – more... and accepting. management is lazy but get the job done and listen to any concerns you may have, very understanding. Being a cashier is all about speed and efficiency. lines can get big an hectic so you must keep your cool and make sure you scan all items and remove all censors. what i enjoy most is the jobs fashion forward dress code. – less
