CNC Operator, Fraser, MI - August 23, 2016
A typical day at Formtech consists of working hard and repetition. I learned how to make mathematical offsets to change the dimensions to metal auto parts. I learned how to inspect parts and judge quality. I learned discipline when it comes to being up early in the morning, working 12 hour shifts and sometimes 7 days a week. I don't have to much good to say about management and my co-workers were pretty much all your typical shop guys. The hardest part about the job was working so much. I had worked 26 days straight with some 12 hour shifts. I worked manual labor and that takes a toll. The most enjoyable part about the job was the paycheck.
