Formula PR, a national public relations boutique agency, is seeking a part time Recruiting Specialist to assist in identifying potential candidates agency-wide.
-Meeting with division managers regularly to discuss staffing needs, selection criteria, and an agreed-upon recruiting plan and timeline
-Utilizing social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to contact and network with prospective candidates
-Researching and recommending sourcing strategies (i.e. internet-based, campus career fairs, community outreach, industry-specific organizations, trade shows, etc.)
-Maintaining an internal database and network of active and passive candidates
-Screening and recommending candidates to move forward in the interview process
Skills & Experience:
-Minimum 2+ years experience in a similar role
-A four year college degree in business or a related field
-Strong professional presence with the proven ability to effectively reach out to industry contacts to secure referrals for qualified candidates
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
-Familiarity with utilizing social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
-Professional verbal and written communication skills
Candidate can be based out of either our New York or San Diego.
