  Forrester and many of the industry research firms, but particularly Forrester-- don't have one African-American analysts. Not one out of 700 plus employees (maybe one or two, but I can't find one on their site - http://www.forrester.com/rb/AllAnalysts.jsp?)? Why? Don't say blacks (and I only see one possible Hispanic analyst) don't apply there because that is not true. Nor say blacks don't have advanced degrees, because that is not true either. It's a shame that a company like Forrester that works with several Fortune 100 & 500 companies doesn't have at least one black analyst. Also, why are most of the analysts at Forrester from Ivy league type schools with no real experience in the field they are covering? Do they not hire people for "regular" schools that have REAL experience. I'll be curious if anyone from Forrester will also respond to this post?
