FosterThomas was established in 1990 as a group insurance brokerage by the firm's President, Thomas G. Bedard. In 1998, to better serve our clients, FosterThomas introduced the human resources consulting and outsourcing division.

Our group insurance staff is comprised of the finest and most experienced benefit specialists and licensed brokers. This division is directed by Ellie Tonder, Vice President of Operations and Benefits. Our property and casualty/risk management division is managed by Laura Kellner.
Our HR division is headed by Patrick Hill, Executive Vice President, who brings to the position more than 15 years of HR and benefits experience in a wide array of industries. This division provides a full range of human resources consulting, planning, outsourcing, and sound advice on every HR issue. Our HR staff is comprised of qualified professionals with Masters' Degrees in Human Resources and Certifications as Senior Professionals in Human Resources (SPHR).
