It operates through three divisions serving distinct geographical areas: the Palo Alto Medical Clinic and the Camino Medical Group serve Silicon Valley and the East Bay; and the Santa – more... Cruz Medical Foundation operates farther south, in and around Santa Cruz. An affiliate of Sutter Health, the organization has some 1,100 doctors covering dozens of medical specialties; its facilities also provide outpatient surgery, diagnostic imaging, and women's services. Additionally, PAMF houses a Research Institute that performs medical research.

Strategy
In 2011 PAMF launched a Sutter application allowing patients to access their medical records on the go; the program is dubbed MyChart; the MyChart program was already available to patients via personal computers. – less
