This is a critically important position in a high expectations firm. Partner is regularly sought out by media, clients and industry leaders for input, advice and/or time. His desk is always full and his phones are always ringing. Critical to his success is identifying a superb deputy who can manage in his absence, help organize his day and provide exceptional secretarial support as needed.
This is a Business Law firm so the right candidate will complement expert “secretarial” skills with seasoned business savvy. He/she will be supremely professional, exercise keen business judgment and be extremely effective at leveraging the Partners’ time.
We seek a versatile and knowledgeable industry veteran. One who combines smart organizational skills with expert computer skills, astute problem solving skills, reliable and productive administrative capabilities and a polished and professional communication style. One who can readily gain the trust and respect of constituents such that they know that their needs will be met. One who brings superb judgment to the unexpected and seasoned skill to the routine.
This is a high profile position and requires an excellent person. Targeted candidate will offer ~ 10 years of experience providing impeccable support to a Senior Partner in a similar, high expectations setting. Expert level knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint assumed and required. Background working with Document Management Systems (eDocs preferred) also important. Typing at 70+wpm essential.
