Extremely taxing environment to work in.
Collateral Support Associate (Former Employee) – Irving, TX – July 24, 2015
The issue at this company was extremely apparent at least in the department I was involved with. It was very common to see that the people who worked harder or more efficiently ended up getting the most work piled on their plates and those who were poor performers would be worked around, making it even more stressful for those who were stronger performers. If someone couldn't reach their counts, they would receive less work to do. If people were able, they would end up picking up the slack. This was something that was noticeable and created friction amongst employees.
I did like some of my coworkers, however, the environment in that department just made it too stressful a lot of the time for co-workers to develop a good relationship with one another. A lot of people felt that upper management did not communicate effectively, although the direct supervisor I had was fantastic. I saw a lot of good people leave that company because it was too hectic. I just think they should balance their workloads appropriately and they would be in much better shape.
Opportunity for advancement was there if you really wanted it, but with that was the consideration of how much more stressful work was going to be so I don't think a lot of people were interested in pursuing these positions.
