not knowing when you are going to get off. no matter how much you contribute its never enough. poor management through out. co workers are laid back like to play around too much. been short handed on a daily basis is the hardest part of the job. getting out of there is the most enjoyable when you been there 12 to 14 hours a day.

On a typicail work day for me i who have to be training new and old employees ,Manages all phases of the job on hand.

Every customer is different which makes this an enjoyable workplace.

Working at Fred's is like a smaller version of Wal-Mart. It's really easy to learn how to do everything and if you work at things hard enough you will be promoted. The only bad part is you aren't eligible for insurance unless you've worked as a full time employee in the corporate system for six months to a year. I love my job at Freds. I learned a lot from it. I had excellent co workers who helped me with various job activities. I would love to work for Fred's again if I had to

Typical day was enjoyable, but the compensation was very low.

Very good job with good management. Short days but easy to complete task. Learn how to stock shelves and help customers. Management is real good. I like this job because I work by myself.

getting to meet and great new people everyday, I learned how to do pricing and organizing product, the management was great, loved all the co-workers too, my hardest part of the job was unloading the truck it was by individual boxes, getting to know new people

A typical day at work was constant moving and working, which was a good thing cause time went by fast. I learned that its good to know your surroundings and what product you have in the store and also what you recieved on truck day and how many you got in so, by doing that you can better assist customers. Management was good because they were physically – more... working with you and not just giving orders. My co-workers was a great team and we worked as one. There was no hard part to me. I enjoyied working everyday. I loved my co-worker and managers as well. I think the hardest part of the job was getting use to standing for long periods of times. The most enjoyable part of my job was working with the general public everyday.

Basic stock clerk employment. Responsible for stocking and recover shelves daily, along with cleaning duties

Freds only allows yearly raise on a percent scale. Also all employees who dont have a key are considered part time and wont allow more than thirty two hours a week.

This was a good place to begin my working life. Good hours. Management was nice.
