Growing home delivery and installation company is seeking a qualified individual to fill a Claims Manager position in Toledo, Ohio.

The successful candidates will possess high-level organizational skills, the ability to multitask, strong customer service skills, a strong sense of integrity, and a sense of ownership in their career. Candidate should possess a good knowledge of Excel and Word and be proficient in internet and web based program usage.

The position is specifically responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Respond to all damage claims in a timely manner
  • Thoroughly investigate all claims
  • Perform or arrange site inspections as needed
  • Determine claim legitimacy for approval/disapproval
  • Manage claims resolution or denial process
  • Work with insurance adjusters as needed
  • Obtain estimates in order to minimize and control costs
  • Provide regular training and coaching to delivery teams to prevent damage and reduce claims
  • Track claims metrics in order to identify issues and drive lower claims occurrences

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skill
  • Strong literacy of Microsoft suit (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a corporate environment
  • Ability to manage disgruntled claimants with a professional demeanor
  • Good time management skills

Hours: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
