In a nutshell, we are looking for individuals who have extensive experience: designing solutions, implementing solutions, and guiding others in the implementation of solutions. These positions will spend roughly 90% of their time coding. You should be seasoned, diverse, full-stack developers because the positions involve leading custom web development throughout the entire project life cycle. You will experience the freedom of building custom projects using your own leadership and programming skills. The Web Developer is a hybrid position that is geared towards both supporting the existing Web application Portfolio and focusing on the successful delivery of new development initiatives. As with any fledgeling company, we wear a wide variety of hats. All of us at Fretbuzz are willing and able to perform in a variety of roles from time to time. Work will encompass projects of all sizes and flavors. We are looking for career minded individuals that want to grow with a budding company.
Desired Qualifications/Skills (as many of the areas below as possible):
AJAX/CSS3/JAVA/.NET/XML/Perl/Python/Ruby/C#/C++ (beginner with initiative and desire to grow skills)
HTML/XHTML/HTML5 (Advanced Level)
Web server setup (Intermediate)
Adobe PS (Intermediate) Design user-friendly + visually appealing applications
Experience working with enterprise data repositories (SQL, Oracle, MySQL or DB2)
Experience with Linux LAMP stack and
Familiarity developing for a mobile platform (Android or Apple iOS)
Exposure to Web-based Mobile Dev frameworks and API's (REST, Locators, Map)
Understanding of website performance and latency issues
Knowledge and comprehension of Object Oriented development techniques
Be able to test (ex functionality in various browsers for quality assurance)
Be able to come to office at least twice a week, rest can be tel-commuted
Be on-call for website emergencies
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Possess initiative with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and planning skills
Must be a team player who is self-motivated, driven, open to new challenges
Must "think on your feet" while "doing what it takes"
Able to work under heavy deadlines and on multiple projects
Remain abreast of industry technical trends
Must continue to develop/maintain skills along with industry standards
Ability to identify and resolve process inefficiencies
Able to maintain a professional presence and represent the Company favorably
Must understand and embrace the company core values, goals, mission and vision

Experience making impactful decisions beyond technology
Knowledge of anti-fraud, spam and scam systems
SEO development skills (develop SEO strategy and implementation)
Ability to identify and implement the best allocation of resources
Pass pre-employment screening and background checks
Clean criminal background check (no felonies)
Proof of a drivers license and acceptable driving record
BA/BS degree with a focus in Computer Science or Software Engineering or 2+ years of rapid web and database development
