Upper Management and HR
Quality Assurance Nurse, RN case manager (Former Employee) –  Chillicothe, OHSeptember 22, 2017
HR is for the company, not the employee....this was a good reminder of that

if you give 110% it is always expected, at which point having a 100% day is insufficient

expected to take on multiple roles, while some co workers do almost literally nothing then when you brought it to a managers attention, you were ignored.

HR and upper management have not a clue of what the staff in other departments job descriptions are which causes a lack of consistency with staff and management changes.

"favoritism" is a must to work here
Pros
flexibility
Cons
make the wrong person upset, flexibility is out the window

Home Health Aide (Current Employee) –  Piketon, OHSeptember 20, 2017
I love the people I work with. I love the management and they work with whatever you need. Everyone listens to you and if you have an idea about something, they will include it.

Disappointing
DSP (Direct Support Professional) (Former Employee) –  Washington Court House, OHAugust 29, 2017
Communication within departments is next to none! You interview for one thing and the next you're told you can work 60 hours. Human Resources doesn't explain what they've hired someone for to Program Managers. Furthermore, while in training you're paid minimum wage and expected to drive all over at your own expense. Also I should mention that you'll be required to attend meetings that are at other sites. Finally, this operation is very antiquated, and they never explained their hiring bonus!

I traveled
Home health Aide (Former Employee) –  Chillicothe, OHAugust 27, 2017
I would go from house to house, and it would vary on the patient for what needed done.Often I would have 3 clients in one day, there was no assigned lunch breaks, and sometimes less than 20 minutes in between each client.

Resident Assistant (Former Employee) –  Chillicothe, OHJuly 15, 2017
They were a fine organization to benefit developmentally disabled.
I did not need benefits because I was receiving retirement benefits.
I had a house in Indiana which residents were defaulting on contract
payment and I needed to earn extra funds to recoop.from financial stress.
Pros
I worked night shift and could sleep while on duty.
Cons
Perhaps they need more funds to assist residents

Office and house staff trained well.
Direct Care Associate (Former Employee) –  Valdez, AKJune 17, 2017
The office staff were always willing to work with the house staff. The training was excellent. The homes were well set and the client schedule were well planned out.

The house staff were hard to get along with due to their home-life drama entering the workplace. They cared and took care of the clients but they wouldn't leave their home-life drama home.
Pros
Excellent training course, willing to work with schedule.
Cons
Coworkers carried too much drama

Personal Care Attendant (Former Employee) –  Soldotna, AKJuly 31, 2015
Cooking, feeding clients, bathing and dressing, playing games with the clients, shopping, in this job you learn a lot about compassion and love. Management was good, most co-workers were pleasant,
The hardest part of this job was caring for those clients as they passed on into the afterlife. The most enjoyable part is loving your clients and their families.
Pros
becoming friends with the clients and their families.
Cons
Caring for those that pass on, using first aid skills, dealing with a client while they are having a serious senior-moment.
