Assistant Manager, Sierra Vista, AZ - March 25, 2017
Minimal training means a steep learning curve in the beginning. Learning on the job is par for the course and you'll usually be paired up with someone with some experience to show you the ropes. This leads to high turn over as new hires are expected to do jobs proficiently but aren't always given a clear Idea of what that is. If you can get over the hump and assimilate then it's a good bet you'll probably stick around for years to come. Good benefits and steady pay raises make Fry's hard to beat. The usual retail song and dance of doing more with less year after year will become routine as will be the diminished hours during the summer. Overall the experience at fry's is as good if not better than other retail jobs and they compensate you better for the same job.
