Good if needed employment.
Night Crew (Former Employee), Phoenix, AZJanuary 8, 2014
I was trying to balance work and school. In my situation I actually was requesting to work less hours due to my struggling math class. Fry's did not have enough employees to cover those hours. I had to quit to place school first in my life. Good place to work if you need a job. Was a little hard to get used to night shift work.

Customer Service Associate/ Cashier (Former Employee), Queen Creek, AzJuly 13, 2013
Pros: thumb scan clock in
Cons: management not supportive in legality issues
Clock in via thumb print and employee number, go to nearest management over your department and find out what the plan and time frame is. For me, you learn dependency on your fellow co workers and your management. The management seems to know how to address your issues when they arise, and if not, are willing to learn along side you how to address said – more... issues. The hardest part was not feeling that when a legal situation arises that management somehow disappear or conveniently forget certain things, believing doing so will secure their jobs. I enjoyed the whole of it, it felt warm and inviting, and you felt you had people to help support you. – less

A fine place to work if you like the grocery-retail industry.
Deli Clerk, Bakery, Cultural Council (Former Employee), Phoenix, AZMarch 25, 2012
Pros: decent wages, cross training, and personable lower-management.
Cons: micro-management, and corporate mindset.
In terms of wages, this is a fine place to work. However, the corporate mindset reduces the atmosphere of the establishment to a money-motivated industry.
