Established restaurant located in Japan town is looking to hire Head Sushi Chef.
We are looking for a chef who has creativity and talent, with the ability to invent stunning sushi rolls, sashimi and non-traditional foods.
Strong in Japanese cuisine traditional and non traditional.

This person must produce Japanese cuisine with finesse, creating dishes that not only taste amazing but are visually striking as well.
The sushi chef must display solid knowledge of Japanese ingredients and preparation, as well as culinary techniques and knife skills.
Culinary qualification is essential with 5 years minimum experience(school years acceptable).
Comfortable interacting with customers in a professional and hospitable manner is essential.
This individual will work in a fast pace environment, while maintaining a clean work area and ensuring that all products are presentable and fresh.
Must have the ability to provide both guidance and strong leadership to others.
Strong work ethic is required.
Must be well versed in English and/or Japanese, preferably both.
