Financial Reporting and Consolidation Manager (Former Employee) – New York, NY – April 28, 2015
A normal day at Fundtech included many special projects that were requested by the CFO. Communications with the various international entities in order to make sure all of the accounting is properly recorded.
During my time at Fundtech I have learned from the CFO and my Manager how to analyze certain data for example Currency sensitivity.
I worked in a small team of three individuals including my manager. We worked as a great team and our goal on a daily basis is to complete all projects, and requests from senior management as well as complete our routine daily work.
The most difficult part of working at Fundtech was the long hours which were 12 hour days. The most enjoyable part of the day is our teamwork and the ability to spend the long days with professional individuals in all departments with in Fundtech.
Senior Financial Analyst (Former Employee) – New York, NY – October 31, 2015
The work life balance of this company is the worst I have ever experienced, which is really surprising being that they are not the biggest company I have worked for in terms of revenue, number of employees, and nature of the business. Low morale, very high turnover. Lack of communication and trust between company and employees.
Technical Support Representative (Current Employee) – Salt Lake City, UT – December 17, 2014
This is a good company to work for if you need a landing place. They don't have a clear advancement program, their HR is outsourced and they don't have an HR rep anywhere near their main offices. If you have issues. However, if you do the work they'll pay your bills.
They don't pay the most, nor will they treat you special for doing a great job, but there are very few drawbacks. No one is mean, you don't deal with problem after problem, it just gets boring and you might consider advancing externally.
