About Furman University
Furman's NCAA Division I athletics program is composed of 17 intercollegiate sports (nine for women, eight for men) and includes approximately 310 student-athletes, representing approximately 12 percent of the university student body. Furman competes in the Southern Conference and has been a member of the league since 1936.
