Job Title; RealTalk ATL Education Specialist
Reports to: Program Manager
PRIMARY FUNCTION: The RealTalk ATL Education Specialist is responsible for planning,
organizing, and implementing Future Foundation’s healthy
relationship skills program to youth in high school.
Each employee of Future Foundation is expected to conduct themselves in a manner that supports the organization’s values and philosophies in achieving our goals in shaping youth into productive and responsible citizens. The RealTalk Education Specialist is expected to comply with all applicable regulatory guidelines and safe operating practices, to produce a service that meets the standards of the Administration for Children & Families, thus supporting all of Future Foundation needs.
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
Provide classroom and community presentations using generic and evidence-based prevention programs during school and/or during out-of-school time.
Maintain accurate and timely data, records, and case management files to document all activities conducted and services provided.
Must be able to lift or carry up to 10—20 lbs. of programming equipment (i.e. curricula and supplies) without difficulties.
Will be required to plan and implement programming and/or events and activities during evening hours, weekends and/or holidays.
- Must have a BA/BS in one or more of the following areas: Human Services, Public Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Child/Youth Development, and/or any related field; or a combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent soft skills and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Valid State Driver’s License and proof of insurance for intercity travel.
