Lead Cabin Service (Current Employee), Tampa, FL – July 21, 2014
G2 has it's fluctuations as with any company. With the avaiation market you never know when a plane is going to be early or late so it's difficult to predetermine hours for the week. Sometimes we get overtime and sometimes we make shy of 30 hours a week. It's very flexible but demanding of your time. I would recommend as a part-time job, but unless – more... you were pursuing a supervisor or management role, there's no room for advancement. – less
Baggage Handler (Current Employee), College Park, GA – June 18, 2014
Pros: pretty easy work, cool co workers, working at the airport itself
Cons: minimum wage, no benefits, tedious work, lots of favortism shown here
I have been working here now for a little over 8 months, it's not bad, simple job, you are basically getting paid to do nothing most of the times. It's a pretty slow job, you pretty much just sit around waiting for people to bring up luggage. It can be very boring and tedious, but it's a job... most jobs are probably like this eventually. Our supervisors – more... are pretty cool, they are mostly chill, they just assign us to our station, and that's that. Management is cool too i guess, you get this feeling that they may not care about their workers and employees, but at the end of the day, do we employees care about the management? lol Anyways, overall summary, it's an ok job, easy tedious work, minimum wage little job. The most enjoyable part of this job for me is probably when i go on my break lol. – less

Pros: recieved tips
Cons: no breaks, lack of team work
I always stayed busy and i learned that not everyone is alike. there are many different and very interesting people in the world, especially the at airport. management doesnt really do their jobs and they make the supervisors do everything for them. the job isn't really hard you just have to know how to communicate with everyone. i enjoyed the fun and – more... outgoing passengers and some of my coworkers. – less
Paging Operator (Current Employee), Los Angeles, CA – December 2, 2013
Pros: employee appreciation day
Cons: short breaks, black outs, short staffed
The airport is always pretty busy, but in my department can get extremely slow. My job description is to make sure all employees have their daily equipment to start their daily tasks. The hardest part of my job to working the graveyard shift, staying up all night takes its toll. The most enjoyable part of my job is going home after a long long day.
Customer Service Agent (Current Employee), Los Angeles, CA – October 30, 2013
Pros: you get to meet different cultures and people
Cons: sometime the management can screw up.
A typical day at work is sometime easy going although it has it days of being over whelming. What I learned at this Job is called G.O.T I always use it frequently it stands for Greet offer and Thanks when help a passenger or guest. My co workers are down to earth and easy going. I find that there isn't any thing hard because i never complain i just – more... make sure the job is done. The most enjoyable part is when you help a passanger and they recognize it and send and email to the general managers and says how I was very big help to them. – less
Wheelchair Customer Service (Former Employee), Los Angeles, CA – October 23, 2013
Pros: nice coworkers. my resignation.
Cons: everything else.
I began employment at G2 in LAX. I took a crash course in their "training program" where I was promised a certain pay rate, a full-time job, with benefits and other incentives. Three days into our post training shifts, we were told to sign documents stating the all of the initial HR documents we signed were no longer valid and that we "agree" to become – more... seasonal/temporary workers with NO Benefits, and random shift changes.
They were very unorganized, needed new/better management and were very unprofessional. – less
