GAP Engineering, Inspections and Construction is looking for several Instrument Engineers/Designers for multiple positions. GAP has projects locally and across the US.
Below is a list of requirements and skill set:
Minimum 10 years experience
Extensive experience across embedded, standalone, and distributed systems
Extensive experience in program development (different languages)
Familiarity with (components and program): Allen Bradley, Square D, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Intouch/Wonderware, PanelView, etc.
Familiarity with Equipment and System Design, Instrumentation Process Engineering, Maintenance Supervision, P&ID Development/Design, Interlock and Process Control Documents, ACAD Native Programming Solutions, SQL Programming Solutions, Computer System Validation, Process Control Systems with strong ROI Design Paradigms.
Areas of Expertise/Experience may include:
Automation Engineering: Commissioning, Vendor Qualification, Validation, On-going Maintenance/Change and Configuration Management, DCS/MES
Software Engineering, Instrument Engineering, Control System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, NEC/NFPA Compliance Engineering
Process Automation System Development: Electrical Coordination, Process System Programming, MES SQL Coordination, batch Recipe Specifications, Functional Specifications, Design Specifications, Process/Control Management, Start Up, Tracing and Project Management, System Installation, Validation, and Project Management
Responsibilities may include:
Responsible for detailed accuracy of functional requirements, design specifications, P&ID Diagrams, Input/Output databases, ISA Instrumentation Sheets, ISA Logic Diagrams and Software Review completion to standards.
Responsible for design, fabrication Management for Electrical & Control Panels.
Perform all HMI Computer Systems Configuration and Programming.
Perform all Control Systems Logic Programming and Configuration.
