Many people start as contract employees
Buyer (Current Employee), Longmont, CO –
Ok company, same as most big corporations. The job is more about the corporate culture than actually doing the job.

It doesn't speak well of a company to read posts that state the job is more about the culture than doing the job. Short sighted and counter productive.

Long hours and very demanding company. If you have a young family, don't go there.

Corporate America at its best and worst
Transition Manager (Former Employee), Kansas City, MO –
Pros: leave on time at 5pm every day, not much work stress here
Cons: few opportunities for career and personal growth
This is a place where you can disappear if you so choose. Collect your paycheck and go home. It wasn't for me; I had higher aspirations than this. Management is focused on the latest "flavor of the day" program/process. At the time I was there, it was Six Sigma. This has some benefits, but it didn't get the day-to-day work done.

Smart Company
Supply Chain Specialist (Former Employee), Atlanta, GA –
Pros: focused
Cons: world view crazy.
The company is really the best I have ever worked at for the dedication of using Six Sigma principals and processes in meeting goals. The most focused company I have ever worked at to this point.
