Managers are good and nice, teammates and colleagues are great to cooperate and well comminucated. Our department is going to shut down and move to out of state, we r in Houston area and we r not preferring relocation, so we r leaving GE and will miss everyone who have ever work before. Pls contact me if your department or GE have openings. I am a business project data analyst and multi-application administration.

Infrastructure Regional Leader (Current Employee) –  Trevose, PAMarch 9, 2017
This was my first real job after my internship and was an overall good experience. My colleagues and management were all very knowledgeable in their fields and I learned a lot. There is a strong meritocratic culture within the organization and outside the box thinking is encouraged.

CONTROLS SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE ENGINEER (Former Employee) –  Schenectady, NYJanuary 29, 2017
Employer offers great benefits and vacation package. Would recommend the GE for the excellent networking and opportunity to build a career. There could be some improvements to the yearly feedback process by engaging with management on a regular basis.

With the shift to the digital industry management has little or no understanding of how to execute getting there. The orders they get are shear based on GEs financial and market penetration. Hope this company can deliver on their promises

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXDecember 18, 2016
Management have no type of experience, company is full of interns with 6 month programs and then move on to the next job. Never get the chance to be able to believe and trust your boss. They seem to work off of a time schedule and not quality.

Technical Service Manager (Current Employee) –  Richmond, VAOctober 31, 2016
There was a corporate take over of Alstom Power by GE. As with all take overs, it adversely affected moral. Everyone had to re-apply for their own jobs, or an alternate job. Many were required to relocate. Some were laid off with benefits packages, and some were just fired.
