GRBS, Inc. (Grand Rapids Building Servicies, Inc.) has been providing contract cleaning services to businesses, airport, banks and schools for 98 years.
We are seeking an Account Manager to manage school contracts for us.
This is a position is primarily first shift (after training), very hands on with customers, leading your assistant and working with your Supervisory team. This position is focused on the customer relationship, financials and communication between your customer, your assistant manager and your staff.
This position will work in Northville and surrounding areas.
Salary: $40,000 a year
Shift: First Shift (core hours of 7 am to 5 pm but flexibility is required)

*Quality validation thru inspections and building walks
*Training of your Assistant Manager
*Management of labor budgets
Core hours for this position are 7 am - 5 pm but may vary depending up account needs and meetings with occassional weekends.

*Able to use Excel spread sheets to enter and manipuliate data
*Able to effective communicate one on one and in groups with customers and staff
*Able to provide written instructions and notes to staff members and write inspection reports
*Able to walk about to two hours at a time
*Able to sit up to three hours at a time
*Ability to effectively communicate face to face and in written form
*Monthly trips to Grand Rapids to Corporate Headquarters for Management Team Meeting
*Must pass employment verifications and pre-employment testing
*Must possess valid Michigan Driver's license and pass our driving clearances
*Must pass drug test
*Must be free of felonies and misdeameanors
